Empowerment
As a result of gross gender related discrimination and poverty, young women - particularly those who are young heads of household - must work longer and harder than any human should.
While we love working with and on behalf of young women in our various capacities to raise awareness and document histories, sometimes that just doesnt feel like enough.
Part of the reason of this collective is to also provide a forum to raise some funds from public appearances and local fundraisers and to send it directly to young women and their families and communities.
